Morning And Evening Cough
One of the most common symptoms of asthma is coughing which is often worse at night or early in the morning when a person first wakes up.

It often gets worse during sleep or at night becomes nagging in the morning and is exacerbated by exertion and after meals. Copd or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease includes both chronic bronchitis. Coughing is often worse during the night and early morning hours. The cough tends to be worse in the morning as phlegm and fluids settle in the lungs during the night while you are sleeping.
Coughing is rarely the only symptom of asthma. Coughing up phlegm in the morning can occur with a variety of short and long term conditions affecting the lungs.
